Memories is the seventh chapter of Kemono Friends 2 (Manga).
Summary
The group are sheltering themselves on cave guided by Campo Flicker due to rain. Serval caught cold then Caracal deliver comical brutal beat up on Serval for falling on waterfall earlier, Aardwolf remarks that the two of them are very close. Aardwolf tell Kyururu that she feel comfortable there and Campo also suggest that they should stay there until the rain stop. Kyururu began to wonder why Aardwolf is very worrywart, Serval suspect that Aardwolf got killed by Cellien in the past however Caracal don't think such thing ever happen since they always take care of Celliens in Savannah area. Kyururu ask Caracal about what happen if Friends got killed by Celliens, she tell him that if Friends got killed by Cellien, they will revert back to original animal form however even though they can revert back into a Friends, their previous memories will be erased. Kyururu with teary eyes looking at Aardwolf, she told him that those events never happened to her but if she going to disappear someday, nothing scares her other than losing her precious memories. After hearing those words, Serval suddenly had a glimpse memory of Kaban. Campo Flicker say that sometimes she met Friends who suffered the same fate, she is also not sure whether Aardwolf is still the same but she want to help her as much as possible because she understand about her feeling. Kyururu noticed that everyone become gloomy and he decided to make a sketch of all of them being together which Aardwolf find the said art to be very good.
The sound of rain reminded Kyururu about the similar day he had before where it's dark and he is all alone, a memory of him putting pieces of puzzle suddenly appear before him. Kyururu cut the drawing he just made with scisor, Aardwolf asked him whether he is fine, he tell her that he remember that when he used to solve picture puzzle when he felt lonely and ask her to try solve the puzzle. While Aardwolf play the picture puzzle, she shed tears and realized that bringing back lost memories feel like solving puzzle picture. The rain already stopped and the group went to the outside while they noticed it's already night time because everyone got absorbed to picture puzzle earlier. Aardwolf asked Kyururu whether he will give the picture for her, Kyururu make sparkling eyes at Caracal then Campo Flicker tell the everyone that it's time right time to visit the place drawn in Kyururu's sketchbook. The termite mounds glowing because of Headlight Beetle larvaes which live in termite mounds, Aardwolf admiring the glowing termite mounds and tell Campo Flicker that she want to stay at the cave where they took shelter from rain. Campo asked her whether she is sure about that since the house only has ordinary security, Aardwolf tell her that the place is comfortable and able to see beautiful view because she is sure that she will never forget the new memories she just made. Campo Flicker then passed out of happiness because Aardwolf finally found a place which she can live.
Kyururu's group decided to left behind Aardwolf and Campo Flicker who sleep inside the cave where they took shelter. Kyururu started talking about the amazing waterfall house but Caracal smacked his forehead, she reminds him that they will keep looking for his home over and over and tell him to cheer up. Kyururu wipes his tears and announce that their next destination is Jungle Park, Musician Lucky Beast tell them that they will meet a new Lucky Beast there then Kyururu gave his drawing of Musician Lucky Beast to the said Lucky Beast. Serval then had a talk with Caracal about Kyururu, Kyururu already too far ahead and ask them to go, Serval thought that as they are playing Hunter and Prey. Suddenly Serval was attacked by Sen-chan's spinning tail slap, Sen-chan told Arma-chan to protect the human child. Kyururu asked them about who are they, Sen-chan introduced themselves as detectives hired by their client. Serval caught Sen-chan easily because jumping is her speciality, Sen-chan complained about Serval being smelly. Caracal suddenly went into rampage which scares Sen-chan and Arma-chen which made them turn into sphere form then they fell from the cliff into the river and swept away by the river current while Kyururu, Serval, and Caracal just watching them got swept away. As the trio talking about the detective looking for human, they are greeted by Commando Lucky Beast which can guide them through Jungle Park. Commando Lucky Beast also know about human facility nearby which surprising Kyururu.
Meanwhile at Alpaca's Cafe, Suri looks so bored because she don't have any customers and jokingly said that having Toki singing at time like that would be amazing. Suddenly there is a loud roar from the outside which shakes even the cafe then Suri and Toki went to the outside. Together they noticed there is a Friends with powerful voice, Toki call her as master.
Major Events
- Friends who got killed by Celliens will revert back to their animal form and if they become a Friends again, they will lost all of their previous memories.
- Serval already got killed by Cellien before and lost her previous memories.
- There is a human facility near Jungle Park.
