Welcome Home is the ninth episode of the second season of Kemono Friends.
Summary
Double Sphere are on their way bringing Kyururu to their client however an accident happened which destroyed the carriage wheel and cage as well. Double Sphere begged Kyururu to walk because both of them can't carry him . Kyururu complaining to Double Sphere for forcing him being taken to somewhere he don't want to go, they told him it's because their client want to see him and they already looked all over the park to find human and only find that Kyururu is the only human left in Japari Park. Kyururu reminds them that there is still Kaban in Japari Park, however they tell him that Kaban isn't a real human. Kyururu decalre that he won't move away from his spot because he know that Serval and Caracal will come looking for him. Sen-chan tell Kyururu that they will bring their client to Kyururu's place and reminds him that their client is scary when get angry.
Serval and Caracal are looking for Kyururu soon they find his bag as well his sketchbook on ground. Serval know it must be the work of Double Sphere which they already met before however their scent and tracks already disappear on nearby thicket. Suddenly Japari Jeep Truck move on it's own despite not having Lucky Beast on it, Serval and Caracal decided to follow and ride it. Arma-chan is sleeping and Kyururu took the chance to bring the Japari Jeep Truck via wristband-type Lucky Beast. Arma-chan wake up and ask him whether he just talked to someone else and Kyururu say no to her. Kyururu ask Arma-chan about the client that was looking for him, she tell him that she is very scary when get angry and she has keen nose and very sharp fangs. Sen-chan bring Ieinu to Kyururu's place, she asked Kyururu whether he is human or not, she also introduce herself to Kyururu and tell him that she has been looking for him because it brings back many memories and she already waited for so long. Double Sphere tell Ieinu that their job is over, Ieinu gave them Japari Sticks as rewards and then they go away. Kyururu tell Ieinu that he need to go traveling with his friends looking for his house. Ieinu know that house is the place when human lived and she dragged Kyururu to that place.
Ieinu reveals to Kyururu that a lot of humans used to live there and she played with them all the time but one day they all disappeared and she always believed that they will return someday that's why she feel lonely. Kyurru tell Ieinu that this is the first time he ever been to this place before that he only remember waking up inside building in Park and come from there. Kyururu feel sorry to disappoint her but Ieinu tell him it's okay because she is happy able to meet a human. Ieinu ask Kyururu to give her any order he wanted, he tell her to sit down and she do as he asked then she put her hand on Kyururu's hand before they play frisbee together. At Japari Jeep Truck Caracal think they should just running instead riding the vehicle for being too slow but Serval say that they don't know Kyururu's location without the vehicle. Serval also think Kyururu might actually made it to his house because of Double Sphere actions, the truck suddenly stopped and Serval hear something nearby.
At forest Double Sphere are enjoying eating Japari Sticks, Arma-chan feels bored because their job is over. Serval and Caracal found Double Sphere and they asked them to bring back Kyururu however Double Sphere tell them that they are late because Kyururu already at human's house with their client but they don't know the location of it. Caracal ask them to find for it then Double Sphere happily accept their new request and ask Serval and Caracal to follow them. Kyururu and Ieinu are playing friesbee, Serval, Caracal, and Double Sphere manages to reunites them with Kyururu. Caracal become tsundere while Serval seems to think frisbee is fun to play. Kyururu greets Serval and Caracal back and he also introduces them to Ieinu. Ieinu ask Serval and Caracal to join play friesbee too however Caracal refused her offer because she is tsundere. Caracal get mad at Kyururu and everyone trying to calm her down but soon things get escalated into a fight. Caracal's harsh words breaks Kyururu's heart and then he run inside the house. Ieinu then apologized to Serval and Caracal because she is the one who responsible making Double Sphere to bring Kyururu to his house and she very grateful to Serval and Caracal for always looking after Kyururu and ask them to leave things to her. Caracal entered tsundere mode and tell Serval that they should go back to their territory and Double Sphere also go home.
Kyururu looks down about what happened before and Ieinu serves him a cup of tea because human always drink that when they are relaxing. Ieinu understand how Caracal feels and she know that Caracal is an animal that has ability to bond with humans while some animals are the opposite of that like a certain someone. Soon they heard Beast scream, Kyururu didn't expecting her to be here but Ieinu tell Kyururu that she show up everywhere in park and attack anyone on sight. Ieinu tell him not to worry because she will protect him, Kyururu stands up and he want to warns Serval and Caracal because Beast is nearby. Ieinu tell him it's dangerous and Kyururu say that's the reason why he must go because they are in danger and still not go far away, Ieinu followed him. Serval ask Caracal if that house really Kyururu's house, Caracal say to forget it. Serval remember that they should returned Kyururu's bag and sketch book back to him and Caracal being tsundere again.
At nearby forest Kyururu calling for Serval and Caracal, Ieinu appear from bushes and tell Kyururu to go home because it's dangerous, she also tells him to forget Serval and Caracal because she will be the one who protect him from now on. Wristband-type Lucky Beast suddenly alarmed about danger nearby and then Beast appears infront of Kyururu and Ieinu. Kyururu suggest that they should run away but Ieinu tell Kyururu that protecting human is her job then Ieinu growling at Beast. Serval and Caracal hear the scream from direction near house and go there. Ieinu got badly beaten up by Beast and Kyururu tell her to stop it because her life in danger but Ieinu say that she must fight for humans. Beast charges towards Ieinu, luckily Caracal saves her by dragging her back out of Beast's range. Caracal didn't excepting that Ieinu isn't as dependable as they thought before because Ieinu full with injuries. Caracal fight Beast and her agile movement give her upper advantage against Beast, then Beast running towards Kyururu but Serval guard him, Serval is about to use her miracle attack against Beast and then Beast run away. Ieinu saying thanks to Caracal for saving her and she decided to go home by herself, she also saying sorry for taking away Kyururu from her. Ieinu grateful to Kyururu, she wishes that Kyururu able to find his own house and she will continue to wait for other humans returns because it's her duty. Ieinu then asked Kyururu to say last thing for her and it's "Go back home" to her and Kyururu do as she said to him. Ieinu is happy with his answer and saying thanks before leaving. Caracal say that their journey is still far from over then they realized that they lost Kyururu's sketch book during chaotic moment with Beast before. Kyururu and Caracal get into a argument while Gothic Birds are watching the group from the trees.

Ezo Red Fox and Silver Fox asked Alpaca Suri whether she has hot water or not which Suri reply with yes. Ezo Red Fox also adds that they need a lot of it, Alpaca Suri surprised that they only ordered that. As Alpaca Suri deliver a cup of hot water, everyone got confused about it.
