Reward: Blooming Smiles is the fifth chapter of Kemono Friends 2 (Manga).
Summary
Kyururu wear the scuba diving suit found on boat then go to underwater. Kyururu is surprised able to hear Common Bottlenose Dolphin talking underwater and she will tell Kyururu about what California Sea Lion say while underwater. Kyururu began imagining the Marine Park but he think that it isn't his home. Kyururu go back to the surface and Caracal want go back to the land faster due to her hydrophobia. California Sea Lion hoping that they got reward from him, Kyururu is about to give Common Bottlenose Dolphin Japari Cornet however California Sea Lion refused because she want special reward which made Common Bottlenose Dolphin shocked. Kyururu offer Japari Bun and Japari Chips but she still refused his offer. California Sea Lion tell them that both her and Common Bottlenose Dolphin giving each other reward for so long now that it become meaningless but after encountering Kyururu's group she felt new sense of joy but still not enough and want solution for that.
Kyururu's group decided to help them, Kyururu asked about what are they doing lately and Common Bottlenose Dolphin tell him that they play ball when got bored. Kyururu stared at the fishing rods on boat and want to test something. Caracal complaining about why everything must ended up like this and Serval ask forgiveness for dragging her too. Serval feel bothered about both Common Bottlenose Dolphin and California Sea Lion are enjoying themselves but suddenly they became quiet and Serval feel something must be bothering them. Caracal give tsundere answer while Kyururu praised Serval which made her enter happy mode. Kyururu attached the ball at the end of fishing line and Common Bottlenose Dolphin having much fun despite playing the same ball as before. Kyururu throws swimming rings at California Sea Lion and she feel nostalgic about it. Common Bottlenose Dolphin is having fun while California Sea Lion despite happy and have fun, she is still not satisfied enough. Kyururu tell her that Caracal already at her limit and they must leave, Serval is too busy playing with ball at the end fishing rod but sea wave makes the boat shakes and she is about to fell into the sea but luckily Common Bottlenose Dolphin save her, then she tossed her into the boat. Kyururu tried to catch her but California Sea Lion want to be the one who do it, she use her face like she do with ball, Kyururu suddenly got an inspiration to draw, California Sea Lion finally feel satisfied.
Kyururu show the two of them the art of both of them playing ball together. California Sea Lion realized something that important but it's not cheer or reward but something that makes her feel nostalgic, Kyururu tell her that it's called memory. Common Bottlenose Dolphin and California Sea Lion bid farewell to Kyururu's group, after they left Common Bottlenose Dolphin want to tell Orca about the new toys to play with however California Sea Lion remind her that the sea doesn't seem to be feeling well lately. Meanwhile at some other place Sen-chan and Arma-chan talked to their client about they managed to track "him" and they will bring him to her place. Back to Japari Monorail, Caracal still having seasick while Serval asked Kyururu whether all things they had done will turn into memory and Kyururu tell her yes about it.
Alpaca Suri asked Aardwolf what makes her feel troubled, she told Suri that she is thinking about moving and what kind of home suited for her, she hoped that her home is nice or somewhere near termite nest. Alpaca Suri does agree with Aardwolf thinking about it does really makes her feel conflicted especially when thinking about the safety. Aardwolf also want a home where Celliens won't come is even better because she scared being eaten. Alpaca Suri suddenly remember and tell her that there is a Friends at nearby Jungle know a lot about homes.
