A Gentoo Penguin friend named Jen appeared as a minor character during the original Kemono Friends mobile game. She is also a member of Water Girls.

Personality

She is really polite and has a great deal of determination. Demonstrated when she's agree to becomes a poster girl for Eurasian Otter's waterpark to make her join the 'Water Girls' group. She has speech quirk. For example, rather than saying 手本 (tehon) model, she says 絵本 (ehon) Picture book. She wants to try to become an actress.

Self-Introduction

I'm Gentoo Penguin of the idol group PIP. Among the penguins, I have confidence in having the fastest speed when swimming! But, it's not good with just good at swimming. I'm still learn singing and dancing but I want to try to become actress.

At first, Eurasian Otter hesitates joining the Water Girls stating that in the end she and the others are only an extra for PIP. Hearing this complain, Gentoo Penguin agrees to do everything. In the end, Eurasian Otter joins the Water Girls after she requests Gentoo Penguin to become a poster girl for her water park. Asian Small-Clawed Otter asks Gentoo Penguin to introduce- her as voice actress, and Japanese River Otter asks Gentoo Penguin to help her search for new friends.
