The Sperm Whale is a cetacean Friend that first appeared in Kemono Friends 3.
Appearance
Sperm Whale wear a black deep-sea diving suit with belt wrapped around both hand, black stockings with marine blue underwear, black hunter hat, and golden necklace with the anchored variant of Japari Park logo. She has marine blue hair and eyes.

In Real Life
The sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) is a large toothed cetacean found in worldwide oceans. Sperm whales inhabit open ocean and abyssal zone, they are capable to dive for over 3000 meters in depths. The male are capable reaching over 18 meters in length and weighing over 45 tons, the female are slightly smaller than the male. The sperm whale preyed on octopus, various fish species such as tuna, Antarctic toothfish, sharks, and squids such as the giant squid and colossal squid. Adult sperm whale lacked any predator however sick individual and juveniles are vulnerable to killer whale predation, in order to protect the other sperm whale from killer whale predation they will form marguerite formation where the other healthy sperm whales swim encircling and facing the direction of weak individual or juveniles at the center of formation, any nearby killer whale will be attacked by other sperm whales by swinging their tail flippers.

- Sperm whale is the only large whale species which was hunted by Halmaheran people because hunting baleen whale considered as taboo by their ancestors.
