Strategy

Sheep has acceptable all-around stats, though not to the extent that she stands out as tanky or hard-hitting. Her role is as a CC-oriented support. She has the rare distinction of being able to inflict both Sleep and Stun, allowing her to buy her team time at crucial moments in-between contributing in a more passive manner with her good flags and defensive standby.

Sheep's usefulness to your team will depend a lot on how you effectively use her Miracle. It does low damage, and is very unhelpful to Miracle chains since Sleep is removed when the enemy takes damage, and you want your hardest-hitting miracles to be at the end of the chorus. On the other hand, the guaranteed Sleep effect (resistances notwithstanding) can delay enemy Miracles and incapacitate particularly annoying mobs like Khopesh Cells. If you have Action flags on teammates that are close to max MP on that turn, it can mean the difference between getting a hard-hitting combo on a boss or taking a couple of KOs.

The Stun effect on her Beat is very impactful when it procs, but unreliable. While you should by all means 'roll the dice' if the enemy has full MP and Sheep doesn't, outside of these situations you should carefully consider the DPS or potential KOs you might lose by having Sheep attack instead of your more hard-hitting Friends.

Hippopotamus is a good teammate for Sheep, bringing damage to the lineup along with additional opportunities for lucky Stuns. Hippo's Miracle Trait can also make for huge damage potential if she has her Miracle ready when Sheep's Stun procs. This is best rounded out with White Serval (who will benefit even more from Hippo's MT) and either another DPS or another support like Peach Panther. If you really want to go all-in on the RNG, team Sheep and Hippo up with Meerkat and either Asian Small-Clawed Otter or North American Beaver.
