Saltwater Crocodile is a Friend that appears in Kemono Friends 2.

Personality

She can be rather assertive, argumentative, and dominant. She has a fun side, too, that she shows more often because of Kyururu, who she secretly cares about and wants to protect. She reveres and respects Western Lowland Gorilla. She sticks together with Spectacled Caiman.

Role in the Plot

Episode 5: The Power of Humans

Along with Spectacled Caiman, she argues with Leopard and Black Leopard over a territory dispute. She taunts the leopards to come down from their tree and face them. Upon arrival of Kyururu, Serval, and Caracal, she becomes suspicious and interrogates them, not believing that an animal could forget their own territory. She and Leopard begin to laugh at the ridiculous idea that Kyururu could be a human since he's not scary or strong. She asks him to prove that he's a human. After his failure to talk with the gray Lucky Beast and the leopards suggesting they have him meet with their boss, she taunts them by saying it was "not a bad idea" by leopard sister standards. She interrupts Leopard when she wants to go bring their boss to Kyururu, saying she doesn't want the leopards getting credit for coming up with the idea and saying she'll go instead. Along with the others, she recognizes the approaching sounds of Western Lowland Gorilla and becomes intimidated by her arrival. She and Leopard present Kyururu to Western Lowland Gorilla when she asks what they're fighting about. As she, Kyruru, Serval, and Caracal leave for her hideout, Saltwater Crocodile asks what the four of them staying behind should do, and promises not to fight while they're gone.

On the bank of a stream with Spectacled Caiman, she mentions that if Kyururu turned out to be human after all, he could teach them how to do that (how to control other animals) and then use it to control the leopards. The two laugh at the idea of doing it, meanwhile the leopards have come up with the same plan.

When Kyururu attempts to prove that he's a scary and strong human with his roaring, she asks if something's the matter with him. She's taken aback by Serval and Caracal beginning to shake in "fear." She calls the trio's act creepy, and mentions that if Serval and Caracal are acting like that, the rumor about humans being able to control animals must be true. After Spectacled Caiman asks him if the rumor about humans making animals their servants was true, Saltwater Crocodile mentions that they could make the animals do anything they wanted. When Western Lowland Gorilla expresses confusion at them asking those questions to him, she explains that if they know how to do it, they can control the leopards. She goes to Kyururu, pulling on his arm, and asking him to teach her and Spectacled Caiman, meanwhile Leopard and Black Leopard do the same, starting a tug-of-war over Kyururu. They become so absorbed in their fight that she only notices Kyururu sneaking away with Western Lowland Gorilla after it's too late thanks to Serval and Caracal's distraction.

After losing to Serval and Caracal and falling to the ground, she remarks at how strong they are as his servants, to which the cats deny. When Kyururu returns with the game he created and has the cats demonstrate it for the others, she scoffs at the idea that humans were controlling animals with something as lame as a game. However, she becomes intrigued when he shows the game piece he made with a drawing of her on it and challenges Leopard. She gets upset when it ends in a draw, but she agrees with Leopard that it's fun and goes another round against her, promising to win this time. The appearance of Siberian Tiger forces her and the others to run away.

Episode 6: A New Morning

She disappears into the jungle with Western Lowland Gorilla and Spectacled Caiman to hide from Siberian Tiger.

Episode 11: The Ocean's Mood

When Leopard blames Kyururu for causing them to have to cram into the trailers and deal with the Cellien problem, Saltwater Crocodile teases her by mentioning that Leopard secretly cares about him. As the Friends approach the hotel, she and Spectacled Caiman say they like that the entrance is underwater. Later, lurking in the hotel's pool, she and Spectacled Caiman leap out of the water to help defeat the group of Celliens that Black Leopard and Leopard lured to them.

Episdoe 12: I'm Home

In the dining hall, she and the other Friends learn about the possibility of a Cellien clone of Siberian Tiger being made from Kyururu's drawing. When they arrive at the hotel roof to a surprised Kyururu, she mentions that she's there to help protect the park, but Leopard gets back at the teasing from Episode 11 by pointing out that Saltwater Crocodile secretly cares about Kyururu, too. She assists in clearing out the Celliens blocking the way back into the hotel so Kyururu can retrieve the drawing of all of the Friends, and congratulates him when he returns with it. As they fight off more Celliens while he's out at sea, she mentions that the Celliens are so formidable because of how strong his attachment is to all of the Friends. When Siberian Tiger roars, Saltwater Crocodile fears that it's her, only to have her suspicions confirmed when she takes out groups of Celliens in an instant before turning to chase her and the other Friends away. She evacuates the hotel with the rest of the Friends as it collapses.

She's like a little sister to Saltwater Crocodile. She often backs up what Saltwater Crocodile says and works together with her.

Black Leopard and Leopard

They argue over territory disputes with the crocodilians, and they want to be able to control them by learning the rumor about how humans controlled animals. They're able to set aside their conflict to work with her and Spectacled Caiman against a common enemy, the Cellien clones.
