The Northern Fur Seal is a form of seal with thick black fur, with lighter browns near the chest and belly, with the adults having gray hair at the backs of their necks. The male Northern Fur Seal grows to 7 feet (2.1 m) in length, and grows up to 385-605 pounds (175-275 kg). On the other hand, the female grows to only 4.5 feet 66-110 pounds (30-50 kg). They are normally found in many places, from Japan to California. | |||
They are carnivorous, and eat primarily fish, like squid and anchovy. Although they feed from ocean creatures, they do not dive deep like some other animals.
