Thoroughbred is a horse breed developed for horse racing known for their agility and speed. Although Thoroughbreds are seen in the hunter-jumper world and in other disciplines, modern Thoroughbreds are primarily bred for speed, and racehorses have a very high rate of accidents as well as other health problems.
The seal brown color is caused by the recessive agouti allele. Seal brown is not recognized as a distinct coat color by all horse breed registries.
Trivia
- Despite it's popularity being used as horse racing, Thoroughbreds are considered as the weakest horse breed due to a lot of health problems which were caused by inbreeding.
- The Japanese Racing Association Friends were redesgined because they had a logo from another IP (JRA logo) on their designs.
