Giant Forest Hog is a type of Friend that appeared in the original Kemono Friends mobile game.

Appearance

She has black and pale pink hair with pigtails that curve around her head that are tied with red, representing a hog's tusks. She has a black ponytail that seperates to the sides towards the end, she has pale pink eyebrows and brown eyes. She has a furry collar with a red pig nose on it. She has a brown sweater and pale pink and black pants. She wears a short black skirt and white high heels.

In the old design, she has short, messy brown hair and pigtails that curve around her head that are tied with red, representing a giant forest hog's tusks, she has a stone collar with two holes that represent the creature's nose. She has dark red overalls with yellow fur, yellow leggings with black stripes and brown and red slippers. She has a big heart shaped weapon with a yellow stick and white fur that represents a pig's nose. She has a white, furry belt with red armor that has darker red squares on it for decoration.

The giant forest hog generally is considered the largest wild member of the pig family, Suidae. They are mainly found in forest-grassland mosaics, but can also be seen in wooded savanna and subalpine habitats at altitudes up to 3,800 m. Adults can measure from 1.3 to 2.1 m in head-and-body length, with an additional tail length of 25 to 45 cm. Adults stand 0.75 to 1.1 m in height at the shoulder, and can weigh from 100 to 275 kg. The extensive hairs is mostly black in colour on the surface, though hairs nearest the skin of the animal are a deep orange colour. Its ears are large and pointy, and the tusks are proportionally smaller than those of the warthogs, but bigger than those of the bushpig. Nevertheless, the tusks of a male may reach a length of 35.9 cm. The giant forest hog is mainly a herbivore, but also scavenges. It is usually considered nocturnal, but in cold periods, it is more commonly seen during daylight hours, and it may be diurnal in regions where protected from humans.
