Leopard is a Friend that appears in Kemono Friends 2.

Personality

She's loud-mouthed and crude compared to her sister Black Leopard. She secretly cares about Kyururu but pretends to be tough and denies it. She reveres and respects Western Lowland Gorilla.

Role in the Plot

Episode 5: The Power of Humans

She and Black Leopard are engaged in a territory dispute with Saltwater Crocodile and Spectacled Caiman when she taunts them from the tree, telling them if they have a problem to come up to them. She asks the trio what they're doing in the jungle, and along with Saltwater Crocodile, laugh at Kyururu when he says he's a human because they don't believe him. She also doesn't believe him when he says he can talk with the gray Lucky Beast. She explains that their boss knows a human and can tell if Kyururu is one. When she tries to go get their boss, Saltwater Crocodile tries to steal the credit, causing another argument between them.

When Western Lowland Gorilla arrives, she and Saltwater Crocodile present Kyururu to her and blame him for why they're fighting. Later, she mentions being worried about Kyururu if he truly is a human, and wants to win him over to learn how to control the crocodilians from him. Confused by Kyururu's "roaring" and the cats' shaking, she becomes scared of him. She and Black Leopard fight with the crocodilians over Kyururu so they can learn his secret to controlling the cats. After Serval and Caracal tell them to stop fighting over Kyururu, Leopard challenges them to a fight. She's surprised by the cats' power when they lose the fight to them. She doesn't believe that Caracal isn't under Kyururu's control. After watching Serval and Caracal play with Kyururu's game, she feels disappointed that was what his secret trick to controlling animals was. When he shows them the cutouts of Saltwater Crocodile and Leopard, she gets excited and wants to play, challenging Saltwater Crocodile and promising not to lose. It ends in a draw, and she finds it both frustrating and fun, so they go another round. The appearance of Siberian Tiger forces her and the others to run away.

Leopard's animal talk

She also appears in one of the animal talk segments in this episode.

Episode 6: A New Morning

She disappears into the jungle with Black Leopard and Kaban to hide from Siberian Tiger.

Episode 11: The Ocean's Mood

When Cheetah asks why they're all crammed into the trailers on their way to the hotel, Leopard says it's obvious and blames Kyururu for his drawings and wants to complain in person while holding up the drawing cutout from Episode 5. Saltwater Crocodile, Spectacled Caiman, and Black Leopard tease her by pointing out that she cares about him in reality and is just pretending to be tough.

Later, she and Leopard lead a group of Cellien clones to the pool room where the crocodilians leap out and defeat them alongside the leopards.

Episode 12: I'm Home

Along with the other Friends in the dining hall, she learns about the potential for a Cellien clone of Siberian Tiger being created. She and the rest of the Friends arrive at the hotel roof to meet up with Kyururu, Serval, and Caracal. Saltwater Crocodile mentions that they're there because the park is in danger, but Leopard gets back at her for the teasing in Episode 11 by pointing out that Saltwater Crocodile was worried about Kyururu, too. She warns him that he can't go back into the hotel for the drawing because there are Celliens inside. She and the other Friends clear a path back into the hotel for him by defeating some of the Celliens, and congratulates him when he returns with the drawing. She has a bad feeling when Siberian Tiger appears, but thinks she's helping them when they watch her take down groups of Celliens in an instant, before being chased off by her anyways. She mentions that Siberian Tiger is attacking everyone and everything indiscriminately.

She can be seen at the end of the episode on the beach with Black Leopard after the hotel collapses.

Relationships

Black Leopard

She relies on Leopard and refers to her as her sister. They work together against Saltwater Crocodile and Spectacled Caiman.

Saltwater Crocodile and Spectacled Caiman

They argue over territory disputes with the leopards, and they want to be able to control them by learning the rumor about how humans controlled animals. They're able to set aside their conflict to work with her and Black Leopard against a common enemy, the Cellien clones.

Trivia

• She speaks using an Osaka dialect, a specific regional Kansai dialect, the same as Black Leopard. An obvious example of this is when she refers to Kyururu as Kyururu-han, a different pronunciation of the -san honorific.
• Unlike Leopard in Nexon game and Kemono Friends 3 where her normal design was used, her EX design was used for the season 2 anime.
