Hippopotamus Gorgops is a type of extinct Friend that first appeared in the original Kemono Friends mobile game and got a redesign in Festival.

In the new design, Hippopotamus Gorgops has long feathered hair with edges tinted in a light yellow-brown color. She has thin eyebrows and bangs that curve around her head, which might represent a hippo's fangs, or the shape of a hippo's snout. There are two pieces of hair on each side of her head that go over her goggles, which might represent the top teeth of a hippo. She is wearing a black & light blue wet suit with two golden rivets on the bottom of her belly, representing the nostrils of the animal she's based on, and a golden zipper attached on her back, covering her tail. She is wearing swimming goggles that represent the creature's stalk-eyes.
