Shoebill is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion.
Description
| Japanese | English |
|---|---|
A large bird with a characteristically huge beak. Since this animal often is seen staring at things with little movement, it is known as the "Unmoving Bird". While it may look like it is glaring at you from the front, if you look at it from another angle, it has a humorous-looking face.
"Hm... And you are? Wait, don't speak carelessly. If you make any unnecessary movement, my next move will be exposed. Cautiously, without movement, wait for a chance. ...Okay, you can speak now. What? You say you came to befriend me? ...You're an unusual fellow, but certainly interesting. My name is Shoebill, let's build a trusting relationship." |
How to Encounter
Shoebill can be encountered in all of three areas, with the Waterfront having the best chances of spawning her, but her infrequent spawn rates make her one of the more elusive Friends in the game regardless. She can spawn on a fairly wide variety of playthings, though not nearly as frequently as other Friends with large spawn pools (such as Serval or Raccoon). However, the Single Mic combined with either the Mountain or Waterfront seems to produce a least a moderate amount of encounters.
Shoebill has a duckboat in the form of the Bear Face Cutout, which will make level-grinding trivial should the player be fortunate enough to print it.
Unique Behavior
- ガン見 (Stare) - Stands on the Mini Stage and stares in the direction of the phone screen, as if looking directly at the player.
