Eurasian Eagle-Owl is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion.

Personality

Eurasian Eagle-Owl has an almost identical personality to Northern White-Faced Owl, and subsequently her own anime counterpart; she also shares her compatriot's primary divergence from the anime, in that she rarely mentions cooking outside of her unique behavior. She is considered to be Northern White-Faced Owl's assistant, just as in other media.

Description

This animal is the largest and strongest of the owls, with a wingspan exceeding 1.5 meters. As it is a powerful and nocturnal creature, it is sometimes called the "Raptor of the Night".

"Hello... I'm the assistant of the Northern White-Faced Owl, Professor Konoha. Professor Konoha is a genius, an exceedingly great beast. Therefore, since I as an assistant am also great, you should show your respect. By the way, because I'm a bird of prey, if you show disrespect, I will absolutely show you my eagle side. Shah!"

How to Encounter

Eurasian Eagle-Owl shares almost all of her rateups with Northern White-Faced Owl, including her high spawn rate at the Bookshelf. She is similarly seen most often on Mountain, with certain other playthings allowing for spawns in many different areas.

Unique Behavior

  • 本を読む (Reading Books) - Sits in front of the Bookshelf and reads a book. This animation is almost identical to that of Northern White-Faced Owl; however, Eurasian Eagle-Owl sits in a different position at the bottom of the bookshelf, and also opens her mouth in surprise when turning a new page.

Trivia

  • Eurasian Eagle-Owl was announced to be appearing in Pavilion in a tweet posted on September 23rd, 2017.
  • The book that Eurasian Eagle-Owl reads during her Unique Behavior has a picture of curry on the page; this seems to be a reference to her anime counterpart, who tried out Kaban's curry in episode 7.
