Gentoo Penguin is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. Her nickname is Gen.

Personality

Gen's personality is largely identical to that of her anime counterpart. However, Pavilion's KemoTalks give her more time in the spotlight, revealing numerous new aspects of her character.

How to Encounter

Gentoo Penguin appears most frequently in the Waterfront Area. A multitude of different Playthings can attract her, but the Large Aquatic Stage, Duck Boat, Heart Teddy Bear, Single Mic and Speaker (all of which are exclusive to the SS Printer except Heart Teddy Bear, which is currently unavailable) are particularly effective. She is also known to appear on UMA Boats in the Waterfront at a somewhat high rate.

The Duck Boat is renowned as an especially effective Plaything for Gentoo, often resulting in consecutive spawns when used on its own; this is what gave the practice of duckboating its name.

Although she is quite rare without these Playthings, Jen can also appear at random in all three Areas at a variety of Playthings.

Unique Behavior

• PPPダンス (PPP Dance) - Performs her part of the PPP Dance at the Speaker or Single Mic. This Unique Behavior is shared amongst all PPP members, but her dance moves are unique.
