Chokotto Anime Kemono Friends 3 is a series of original web animation shorts produced for the promotion of Kemono Friends 3. The animation was initially planned as a reward for reaching 50,000 pre-registrations, with the first episode releasing to celebrate that milestone being achieved. A total of 25 episodes would be released before the transfer of operation of Kemono Friends 3 from SEGA to Appirits was completed, after which one additional episode was released.
Overview
Each episode of Chokotto Anime Kemono Friends 3 looks into the lives of various different Friends across Japari Park's various locations and biomes. Several plot threads can be observed which tie together episodes in several groupings, and the same handful of Friends tend to recur across these episodes.
A typical episode runs for about one minute and 20 seconds including the intro and credits, with the shortest episode being just over a minute and the shortest episode running for two and a half minutes, though the runtime of the latter is extended by a musical performance at its end; if that part is omitted, the episode has a standard runtime.
