How to Encounter

Brown Bear is notable for almost never spawning at anything other than the Bonfire and the Campfire; both work, but the latter is the most effective.
Spawning her is simply a matter of acquiring one of these two playthings; very few other Friends spawn on them, so player can count on Brown Bear spawning at one point or another if they have them. Using the Campfire in the Mountain area is by far the most effective method, reliably resulting in multiple encounters daily.
Aside from the Campfires, Brown Bear has been observed to rarely spawn on the Bunk Bed.

Unique Behavior

• Bonfire/Campfire - Brown Bear will tend to the fire with her paw staff. Interestingly, this unique behavior seems to have a higher occurrence rate than all others in the game.
