Lion is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. This appearance is based on her Generation 2 (Nexon) incarnation, which was added to the game along with the other starting Generation 2 Friends in Version 1.4.0.

ライオンというと眠っているイメージがありますが、夜行性であることに加え、昼間は無駄な力を消耗しないようにしているためです。まだ、天敵がいないので周りを警戒する必要がないため、寝ていられるのでしょう。 「やっぱりライオンって、しょうちゅう、寝てるイメージよね。うん、否定しないわ。 ’’百獣の王’’ なんて言われるから、ホントはお手本になるような振る舞いをしないとだけどね。ただ、強さの象徴とも見られてるから、衰えないよう、陰ながら努力してるのよ」	{{{endescription}}}

How to Encounter

The Gen-2 version of Lion is much harder to spawn than her counterpart. She has only two rateups, the Red Luxury Sofa and the Big Ring, neither of which are craftable; this makes her the second-rarest of the Gen-2 Friends, behind Tsuchinoko.

• 獅子の休息 (???) - Lays prone on the Red Luxury Sofa, scratching at the upholstery.
