Reticulated Giraffe is a Friend that appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She is the seventh Friend to have been added after the original release.

Personality

Giraffe is curious and investigative to the point of breaking the fourth wall, as indicated by her encounter lines; she shares her anime counterpart's penchant for acting like a detective.

How to Encounter

While rateups for Giraffe are scarce considering the time she has been in the game, the difficulty of encountering her is mitigated by two of them being craftables - namely, the Carpet and the Arabian Tent. However, her most optimal chances come from her sole update-day item, the Grandfather Clock.

Trivia

• Reticulated Giraffe's assets were located in the game files weeks before her release, not long before her official announcement, which occurred simultaneously with the fourth Area.
• She is one of the only post-release Friends to have had only one rateup on her update as opposed to the traditional two. The other three items added in her update (the Step, the Dumbbell and the Garbage Can) intended to showcase the introduction of the Rough Steel material instead.
• Her description was given a minor change on 8/21/19; the '9' was changed from full-width to half-width.
