Resplendent Quetzal is a type of Friend that first appeared in the original Kemono Friends mobile game.

The old design of Resplendent Quetzal has gray eyes and a mostly aquamarine long hair, with a blue line in the middle and yellow green at the tips. She has two wings ath the side of her head with white feathers, and an aquamarine tail with multiple feathers, two of them larger than the rest and curved upwards. She wears a red blazer with black feathers under her sleeves, a two-toned scarf matching her hair and a red bow tie. She has a gray circular skirt that fades with a white gradient at the bottom, white leggings that grade to darker gray colors near the bottom and matching dark gray shoes.
The new design of Resplendent Quetzal has vibrant green hair with black accents in her head wings like the bird she is based on. She wears a red blouse with green sleeves. She has a white and black tail with the long green tailfeathers only found in male Quetzals. She also wears a white pantyhose and brownish shoes.
