How to Encounter

Brown Bear is notable for almost never spawning at anything other than the Bonfire and the Campfire; both work, but the latter is the most effective.
Spawning her is simply a matter of acquiring one of these two playthings; very few other Friends spawn on them, so player can count on Brown Bear spawning at one point or another if they have them. If the player cannot get lucky with the SS Printer, the player will have to make do by crafting the Bonfire.
Aside from the Campfires, Brown Bear has been observed to rarely spawn on the Bunk Bed.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Campfire is a particularly effective duckboat for Brown Bear, resulting in tens of encounters daily even in the nighttime.

Unique Behavior

• Bonfire/Campfire - Brown Bear will tend to the fire with her paw staff. Interestingly, this unique behavior seems to have a higher occurrence rate than all others in the game.
