To begin a device transfer, you must first be on the title screen for Festival (not your Home screen). Tap on the middle button in order to start a transfer.

Verify that you're ready to begin the transfer by tapping on the button that says "はい".

Next, you'll be greeted with a button on top followed by two empty text boxes. Tap the top-most button. Note that this button may not be initially enabled - wait for a few seconds, it'll enable by itself.

Check both boxes by tapping on the checkboxes. The button below will become enabled. Tap this button to continue.

The game is now generating a user ID and password for your account - please wait warmly while it does. Eventually, both of these will be visible to you.

Be sure to write down both the user ID and password - you will need them to complete the transfer!

Press the pink button to complete the setup process. You can now use the user ID and password combo to transfer your account to any device!
