BATTEN Japari-Dan (Japanese: ばってんじゃぱりだん), stylized as X Japari-Dan (Japanese: ×ジャパリ団) is an idol unit comprised of Blackbuck (Miki Mirai 未来みき), Tasmanian Devil (Moeka Koizumi 小泉萌香), and Australian Devil (Yurie Funato 船戸ゆり絵).
Unlike other Kemono Friends units like Doubutsu Biscuits, PPP, and Gothic×Luck, BATTEN Japari-Dan perform "alt idol" music, featuring pop idol vocals combined with hard rock/metal instrumentals. Like Gothic×Luck, whose Friends were featured in Kemono Friends 2, Batten Japari-Dan is an in-game character group in Kemono Friends 3. They play a major role in the main story.
Their first solo live concert, "BATTEN Japari-Dan Live -Are you ready to headbang!?-" (×ジャパリ団 LIVE ～ヘドバンの準備はできているか!?～) was held on September 22, 2020.
Their next live scheduled on April 25, 2021 has been delayed due to pandemics until further notice.

Trivia
- Substitute "×" in × Japari-Dan with "X" and delete "ri" and "Da," you get X JAPAN, a well-known Japanese rock band.
- In Japan, ○ means correct answer and × means incorrect answer, and the two are treated as opposites: maru in Hanamaru Animal means ○ and BATTEN in BATTEN Japari-Dan means ×, so they are made as opposite groups from the beginning.
