Strategy

A fantastic Guard even outside of PPP teams thanks to her Miracle's great DEF boost, her Breakthrough I/V effects granting an additional DEF boost to any Friends who have activated their Combo, and her fantastic effect of converting a percentage of incoming damage on the turn she uses her Miracle into DoT (damage over time). Instead of taking 100% of incoming damage on the Miracle activation turn (as reduced by the Friends' DEF boosts), Friends take ~63% of the damage on that turn and the other ~37% over the next three; this comes out to ~12.33% per turn.

Being a five-star Friend, her lower stats compared to some six-star Guards are her primary drawback; she won't always be able to compete with them, but there are many situations where she will be able to do just as well if not better. Gentoo Penguin is worth investment, especially if a player lacks six-star Guards other than Hippopotamus.
