Please try to include a date on all new news bulletins! When adding new bullets, delete bullets that are 30 days old or more, but don't delete bullets unless there's new bullets to put up. Otherwise, we'll have an empty news section! Also, make sure that at least five bullets are on the list at any given time, no matter how old they might be, so that it isn't empty. Lastly, bullets should only be used for major news - rumors, for example, should not be present here, nor should new tweets by voice actors, and so on.... only items with major substance! Updated details for news we learned about very recently (a few days) should be placed on a page related to the bullet, not on a new bullet, or as a slight edit to the bullet if it is small enough. Thank you for keeping our news clean!
The nine templates for news bullets are:
NewsAnime - For animation related information. This does not necessarily include just the headlining anime we all know and love. It also includes the ONA!
NewsCollab - For new collabs or events.
NewsGames - For games, including mobile games or video games. Minor updates or regular game events for our mobile games do not count, and should go in the Pavilion or Festival update sections if they are noteworthy. Big updates (with story content, new Areas, large amounts of new friends, or new features) SHOULD go here. (note that the update sections are not yet on this template as of this writing, but this still applies!)
NewsLibrary - For news relating to this very wiki, Japari Library! This is only for important things like major translation efforts, site-wide changes, new affiliated wikis, or other such things.
old code ^ new code v
NewsManga - For comics. So far not much to report here, but it exists just in case.
NewsMerch - For major merchandise - i.e., new Nendoroid figures or anything that the official Twitter found worthy of mentioning. Keychains and collab merch do NOT go here.
NewsMisc - For odds and ends. If a new Friend is announced or redesigned via Twitter, it goes here! If a new Friend is announced via a collab or some other event, it goes in that bulletin.
NewsMusic - For albums, promotional songs, and live shows. New music that goes in any other category does not go here (i.e., releases of a stage play soundtrack).
NewsStage - For stage play announcements and the like - soundtracks, physical releases, reshowings, and costume reveals do go here. Information about plot and the like does not and instead goes on that play's article.
The usage of <nowiki/> is necessary for the templates to display correctly.
