Crested Ibis is a Friend who first appears in Episode 3 of the Kemono Friends anime.

Personality

Crested Ibis is usually very soft-spoken and calm but is loud and enthusiastic when singing. She hopes to attract new friends with her singing and is appreciative of her fans. She seems to give much thought about even the mundane happenings in life, which often end up being the motifs for her songs.

Role in the Plot

Episode 3

In Episode 3 of the anime, Crested Ibis helps Kaban reach the top of the mountain to Alpaca's cafe. She also helps Alpaca by weeding the grass and becomes one of Alpaca's regular costumers.

Episode 12

In Episode 12, she helps carry Lion to fight the Black Cerulean. She can also be seen during Kaban's departure from the island.

Relationships

Alpaca Suri

Crested Ibis meets Suri Alpaca in Episode 3 and becomes a regular customer. She enjoys Alpaca's tea, and Suri Alpaca seems to enjoy Crested Ibis's singing.

Chapter 1

Crested Ibis is seen as a minor background character. She offers to sing to Kaban; however Serval rejects her offer.

Chapter 3

Crested Ibis gives a singing recital at the Japari Cafe for Friends to enjoy.

Chapter 4

Crested Ibis is seen near the end of the chapter, and she offers to sing about Suri Alpaca's tea; however, Boss insults Crested Ibis's voice.
