A list of all Friends based on primates which belong to the superfamily Lemuroidea, commonly known as lemurs. All members of Lemuroidea are endemic to the island nation of Madagascar, having evolved independently from other primates; this has resulted in the lemurs being well-known for their evolutionary diversity.
This grouping is not to be confused for the infraorder Lemuriformes, as this is a larger group that includes the lemurs alongside the galagos and lorises, which are not themselves considered lemurs.
