Merchandise

An ongoing project regarding the merchandise that has been sold across the history of the Kemono Friends franchise. Merchandise is a very broad term, but in this sense, it includes the obvious (figures, charms) and the less-than-obvious (apparel, books). This project does not include doujin works or fan-made products. The mission statements of the merchandise project are as follows:

• Create a comprehensive guide to all of the official merchandise produced for the series, including merchandise that was produced for a single event (i.e. the Stage Play or the Kemono Friends does Okinawa collaboration).
• Creating and maintaining a list of all known merchandise.
• Creating articles for each item of merchandise.
  • Items of merchandise are to be grouped into sets if they are released as sets, with an article describing the set, not the individual product - for example, the Nendoroid Plus Mountain and Desert acrylic keychains are sold as one product, and thus are group together. Capsule toys, rubber straps, badges, and similar themed items released simultaneously are to be considered sets. Waves of the same item are to go in that set's article.
  • Including links in some form to relevant merchandise on a Friend's page.
• Providing images of every merchandise item where available.
  • Improving upon low-quality merchandise images by uploading high-quality photographs or images when possible.
• Providing the following information regarding merchandise, if possible:
  • The item's distributor, manufacturer, artist, and sculptor (if applicable).
  • The item's original price (in Japanese yen), release date, item number, and any information relevant to those topics.
  • The item's description or sales blurbs.
  • Specifications regarding the item's material, if needed (this will usually only be relevant for figures).
  • Links to official documentation on the manufacturer or distributor's websites (if possible). If such a link exists for an English release, this is also included.

Media Projects

A set of projects regarding creating the most comprehensive guide to the world of Kemono Friends, across all of its media. This is constantly ongoing by nature, but the focus of these projects is to ensure that Japari Library contains as much information as possible, as accurately as possible, as accessibly as possible. While it may seem like updating the most recent information is vital, currently, Japari Library is lacking much-needed expansion to articles about many subjects.

Anime

The Anime subset of this project involves the following topics:

• Expanding Friend pages and filling in missing details
  • Ensuring that the "Role in Plot" section is detailed and does not miss any important information
  • Filling in details regarding the audio drama or anthology manga
• Filling in details on lore-related articles
• Expanding and cleaning up Episode pages

Manga

The Manga subset of this project involves the following topics:

Kemono Friends Official Guidebooks Scanlation

Japari Library seeks to make the deepest secrets of Kemono Friends' lore accessible for the English-speaking world, and to do so, we've been steadily translating and typesetting the series' official guidebooks. The books are very long, however, so we've identified the most valuable pages (i.e. those that are relevant to the series' canon) to prioritise. We are scanlating the following pages:
