Appearance:	Boomslang's old design has seaweed colored eyes and long green wavy hair that fades to a darker color towards the tips, with several red spots at the front and in her bangs. As other snakes, she has a long green tail. She's wearing a green hooded jacket with a snake print, with a pair of yellow glowing circles at the top of her head. The front of the jacket that fades from yellow-green to bright green towards the bottom, it has a light green middle portion that symbolizes a real boomslang's belly, and the red strings of her jacket resembles the tongue of a snake. It is a slender snake that averages 1 to 1.5 m (3.5 to 5 ft) in length, identified by its small, stubby, egg-shaped head, proportionally large eyes, and in the case of male specimens, their sometimes striking coloration. The scales of male boomslangs can boast a variety of colors and shades, ranging anywhere from solid bright green to rust-red to a combination of black and yellow. Females, meanwhile, sport a dull olive-brown or gray color. These diurnal, arboreal snakes spend most of their day hunting in trees and shrubs, carefully moving through tree branches until an ideal hiding place is found from which they can ambush prey or rest for the night. Although they are by far a primarily arboreal snake, being rarely seen outside of trees or shrubs, they will occasionally move to the ground in order to bask in the sun, relocate themselves, or capitalize on a hunting opportunity. The boomslang's typical diet consists of small arboreal reptiles, including chameleons and other boomslangs, as well as small amphibians. Small mammals and birds are taken less frequently, and boomslangs have been known to raid the nests of birds and reptiles for their nutritious eggs. Boomslangs are a type of rear-fanged venomous snake, with venom-injecting fangs located further back in the mouth than seen in snakes such as the vipers; to this end, boomslangs can open their jaws very wide so as to properly expose their fangs, with angles of up to 170° wide being measured. The venom employed is a slow-acting hemotoxin, which attacks blood cells and causes significant bleeding of internal tissues. Only small amounts of this venom are needed to kill an adult human, and the slow-acting nature of the venom can lead bite victims to be unaware of the peril they are in. While this has given the snakes a somewhat fearsome reputation, boomslangs are timid and solitary reptiles, choosing to flee rather than fight whenever the option is available to them. When unable to escape an assailant, they will make themselves appear as large as possible, assuming an S-shaped defensive pose also seen in various other snakes.The majority of bites are believed to be caused when humans attempt to handle or attack these snakes, or in accidental encounters that startle both human and snake.
